A wee while back, an idea for an evolutionary com badge design floated around in my head.
I decided to flesh it out. Once on screen on front of me, I thought it looks pretty rubbish. The current “Generations” badge looks good as is and doesn’t need replacing, in my opinion.
I like the design flow. Like you I do love the VOY/Generations design best. I tried… and I do emphasise the word “tried” my hand at sketching a hybrid between the VOY/Generations design with the “Future Imperfect” design as I like the idea of the crewmembers rank being displayed on the badge as well as on the collar of the uniform.
