Now I think I’m just spoiling you all.
Another redux done. This time the Cheyenne Class. Old one also added for comparison. Its from 2009. I think I’ve come a LONG way.

Calling this one done!
Alejandro, I’ll be e-mailing you a PDF of it soon 🙂
Well, not really, but I’m not going to make it easy for you and just tell you what class of ship is getting my tender loving care.
Here is a preview, I’ve pretty much finished the shuttle bay.
First one to correctly identify the class get their own MSD of it with their own name and registry of choice, once I’m done. I doubt it is too difficult.
Some of you might have seen the buzz about the Krakatoa class on forums and trek groups on the book of face.
I entered the art comp they were running and did an MSD for it. I won 🙂
A few nights ago I felt the need to fiddle with my new Picard Series 2+3 LCARS… also quickly becoming known as LCARS2.
So I did this….. Enjoy
I know I said I would be taking a break, but things are going remarkably well with the little Ensign and I have unexpectedly found myself with some time during the day between hospital visits to unwind. And I do that best by tinkering with my graphics
So, here we go, the first MSD for 2024, a Springfield Class. I based the deck count purely on the rows of windows on the model (prior to being battle damaged) and added a little artistic license. This size make for me sense to me.
I put all the known troublesome points like the warp core, matter and anti-matter components in the pod, thinking that in the event of some sort of catastrophic failure, the entire pod could be jettisoned f need be.
The impulse engines are attached to the primary hull. A lot of mission sensors and equipment is also in the pod.
Despite what a certain number of people might want you to believe, Axanar is still being produced and made ready for public consumption. Here’s an official behind the scenes look.
Show the haters they are wrong by watching and liking 🙂
Here is a larger copy of a very popular MSD. You can make out more details. Enjoy
Also, help a dude out… https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LCARSGFXUK
And she is done.
Will adjust the details for the 1701-D version which I will be available on my etsy from today. On request, so that CBS don’t get all uppity.
For anyone just stumbling on this, the specs above are due to this Galaxy Class being a Dominion War build, which was later stripped down and completely refitted and upgraded with the best tech available at the time. This included new warp coils, new warp core, the latest structural integrity systems and inertial damping. All this allows for the Saturn to basically fly like an over ground Intrepid class, and then some. While she may look like the 1701-D. She is much faster and more powerful.
“But actually, the Galaxy class can only go x warp. It only has 1650 max Cochranes…. etc etc”
– Well, I strongly believe a Galaxy Class that was built and launched almost 20 years after the prototype would not be identical, but superior. It would incorporate all the lessons learned form the earlier builds. The Arleigh Burke class destroyers are a prime example of this. 70 built and not one of them identical to the next. They all have their little or even large differences.
Furthermore, this class of starship was designed to undergo upgrades and updates. It’s frame life is supposed to be 100 years at least.
You don’t push a ship out of drydock and then never upgrade it.
By popular demand, here is the Galaxy X type. A fully detailed version is still a WIP.
But this is an Engineering style MSD with all major systems landmarks and a more technical looking read out.
I was contacted by someone via my ETSY store. They wanted an Intrepid Class MSD, but not the standard one as seen on screen (which I have replicated). They wanted theirs based on these plans: http://cydonia6.com/intrepid.html
So, I did just that.
(Note: I have altered the LCARS, ship’s name and registry and several interior spaces to differentiate this from the commissioned work and also align it to known Treknology requirements.)
